10th UNESCO-APEID International Conference on Education
The objectives of the conference are: ~ To showcase Education for Sustainable Development in action; ~ To further develop understanding of the role of education in addressing sustainability issues in the Asia-Pacific region; ~ To engage APEID network members in Education for Sustainable Development. The central mission of UNESCO’s APEID programme is to contribute to sustainable human development through the design and implementation of educational programmes and projects, mainly at post-primary levels of education. We anticipate the attendance of several hundred participants, including teachers, educators, curriculum developers, educational administrators and policy makers from informal, non-formal and formal education sectors in the Asia-Pacific region, especially organizations in the APEID and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) communities. The language of the conference will be English.
