Building Bioregional Literacy
This day-long workshop will bring “teaching for a sustainable future” home to our local bioregion--Puget Sound and its surrounding watershed. Join others to learn up-to-date information on major issues in the region and ways students are engaged with exploring and participating in them. The workshop is the second in a series presented by the “Curriculum for the Bioregion” initiative of the Washington Center for Improving the Quality of Undergraduate Education and the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). These events are particularly geared to faculty who teach introductory courses and general education courses.
