Design for Sustainable Community: where Permaculture meets Social Ecology

This course offers a wholistic approach to building sustainable human settlement, by balancing and integrating social and economic design with environmental and physical design. The course’s intention is to equip participants with sufficient knowledge and skills to facilitate a healthy community culture and create comprehensive permaculture concept designs - with urban neighborhoods, co-housing clusters, rural communities and ecovillages. Cost: $550 - $275. Sliding scale, based on income, with consideration for affordability (higher waged - students/lower waged). Cost is inclusive of food (@ $25 per day), tuition, & all educational materials. Accommodation cost is separate.
