DESCRIPTION:The Midwest Student Clean Energy Conference will bring hun
 dreds of students from across the region together to learn about energ
 y issues and the threats posed by global warming\, get trained in orga
 nizing skills\, and learn about how we can call take action on our cam
 puses for a clean energy future.\n\nAt the conference you'll have the 
 chance to hear from inspiring activists\, experienced organizers\, and
  professional advocates for clean energy. You'll also hear from expert
 s in state-by-state energy policy\, hear about opportunities for actio
 n\, and get the chance to meet and network with students from your are
 a and across the region.\n\nA key feature of the conference will be th
 e Campus Climate Challenge\, a national campaign run by the members of
  the Energy Action Coalition. This campaign unites the efforts of stud
 ents on hundreds of campuses working to stop global warming into the c
 hallenge from a generation to tackle global warming\, the biggest issu
 e our generation faces.
